Yamagata Prefecture is a region nestled within the mountains of Northern Japan rich in hidden gems to discover. From its UNESCO recognized culinary heritage, plethora of pristine spiritual destinations, and lively local night scenes; there is no shortage of adventure and discovery to be had in this beautiful region.
Tour Yamagata aims to bring together the various experiences and tours available across Yamagata on one single site. Currently we feature experiences and tour programs from Tsuruoka City, Sakata City, Tendo City, and Yamagata City.
These experiences are made in partnership with the locals of Yamagata and are run by local guides who live across Yamagata Prefecture.
